DRAW CONCLUSIONS
Answer the questions, based on the Reading. Explain the reasoning behind each of your answers.
Mrs. Eugenia is between 82and 85 years old by the way she expresses herself and talks about her habits when she was young.
2. Does Mrs. Hartley prefer the culture of the past or the culture of the present?
Mrs. Hartley clearly prefers the culture of yesteryear, she was raised under that regime and culture that nothing will make her see life differently anymore.
3. What is Mrs. Hartley's opinion of the changing role of mothers?
She believes that mothers are only focused on other things and do not pay much attention to their children and how to educate them.
4. Does Mrs. Hartley approve of the differences that have taken place in the behavior of children and adolescents?
Mrs. Eugenia believes that children and adolescents have changed a lot and customs are very different; she does not agree with this behavior that is currently seen in the culture and that in many families the old culture no longer exists.
